A dedicated pattern store where wood and aluminum patterns are kept in separate areas and catalogued by number, so call-off and return never get in each other's way. At 3,000 m² the store serves several projects running in parallel.
From 3D modeling to gating system design and process simulation, filling and solidification are verified on screen before a pattern is cut. Shrinkage porosity and cold shuts show up early, which cuts both trial iterations and development time.
Roughing and finishing of large patterns and core boxes. A large cavity can be cut in a single set-up, which keeps the profile accurate and repeatable.
Precision machining and profile finishing of small and medium patterns, complementing the gantry mills on smaller work.
We design and build wood patterns in-house. Low material cost and short modification time suit one-off and small-batch castings, and make wood the usual choice during trial production of a new part.
Aluminum patterns hold their dimensions well and wear long, so they can be used again and again. They suit continuous series production and are the main pattern type once a part goes into volume.
The resin sand molding line is served by mobile sand mixers in 15 t, 25 t and 30 t sizes, so molding capacity can be matched to the size of the casting.
Five furnace sizes — 10 t, 5 t, 3 t, 750 kg and 150 kg — let us melt everything from large castings down to small parts in-house. The melt is then transferred in ladles and poured.
5 t and 15 t AOD vessels refine the melt before pouring, and a dedicated oxygen plant keeps the oxygen supply steady through the heat.
Four car-bottom furnaces carry out annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering and post-weld stress relief.
A ladle preheater dries and warms the ladle before pouring — standard equipment for the melting and pouring stage.
Shakeout machines and shot blasting equipment remove the sand from the casting and clean burnt-on sand and scale from its surface.
Extraction ducting and large bag filters collect the dust raised by shakeout, shot blasting and grinding.
